Use our Vanilla pancake & Waffle Mix to make a delicious sheet cake, that can be served as a snack with tea. This recipe will be very satiating for children after school when they are hungry but not ready for a full meal. Slightly sweet, includes fruits, made with whole wheat flour and jaggery, this is a delight that your kids will love. Replace strawberries with any fruit you have on hand.
1 pack The Wildly Natural Vanilla pancake mix. 1.5 cups milk 2 Tbsp butter 1 cup Strawberries chopped into bite size pieces.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare the batter as per the instructions on the pack.
Prepare a 8x8 cake pan - spread a dab of butter all over the pan, and dust with plain flour.
Arrange the chopped berries on the pan, covering the entire surface of the pan.
Pour the prepared batter on top of the berries, again covering the entire pan.
Bake the Sheet cake for 15-20 minutes until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Let it cool completely and invert onto a serving plate.
